Please find below the schedule for this semester’s Enterprise Academy skills based development sessions. A series of entrepreneur talks will also start after the Easter break, I will send you more details shortly. I would really appreciate it if you could promote these to anyone you think may be interested in attending.
These sessions are free to attend and are open to any student, graduate or member of staff from any degree discipline or background. They are not only open to people who want to start their own business but for those wishing to improve and enhance their enterprise and employability skills, those who want to start their own business and those who want to grow an existing business.
If you are a buddy to an Employability Champion, please can you forward this information to them?

| Tuesday 6th March 4.30-6.30pm | Ground Floor, University House | Pitch Perfect | This session will teach the essential skills necessary to pitch your material to a variety of audiences. Subject matter will include NLP work, Body Language, and deploying Performance skills.

| Tuesday 13th March 4.30-6.30pm | Ground Floor, University House | Creative & Professional Writing | Being able to write clearly, concisely & effectively is an essential skill for anyone looking to succeed in today's workplace. This session will help you polish crucial transferable skills & sharpen up your writing.

| Tuesday 20th March 5.30-7.30pm | Ground Floor, University House | Business Basics | This interactive workshop will look at the fundamentals of setting up and running a business.

| Thursday 22nd March 5.30-7.30pm | Ground Floor, University House | Finance & Funding | This session will give a wide overview of business funding. |
| Tuesday 27th March 4.30-6.30pm | Ground Floor, University House | Creativity in Problem Solving | This session brings together analytical problem solving methodologies with creative thinking in order to develop effective problem solving and very much adopts a “hands on” approach.

| Wednesday 28th March 2-4pm | Room LHG04, Lady Hale Building | Business Games | Pit your wits against others in a test of teamwork, leadership, communication and important decision-making. This ‘Apprentice’ style activity is exactly like an assessment centre activity.
